What does elevation mean?
It means going uphill. Your watch or phone may say elevation gain or climbing. Going downhill does not give extra points.
Strideboard user guide
A simple guide that shows you how to sign in, add a walk or run, get points, and join a challenge.
Part 1
You do not need a password. Strideboard sends a six-number code to your email. You use that code to sign in.
You are already on Strideboard. Keep this page open, then use the sign-in page below.
Go to sign inType your work email carefully. Then press the orange button that sends your code.
Look for an email from Strideboard with six numbers in it. If you cannot find it, check Junk or Spam.
Go back to Strideboard and type the six numbers exactly as they appear in the email. You are now signed in.
Return to sign inThen enter the six numbers from your email.
Part 2
You earn points for walking, running, and hiking. First, you must add the activity to Strideboard.
for every kilometre you walk, run, or hike.
for every kilometre you climb uphill.
It means going uphill. Your watch or phone may say elevation gain or climbing. Going downhill does not give extra points.
If you upload a file, your points are added once it has been checked. If you send an activity from your phone, a Head Admin must approve it first.
Part 3
There are two ways to add a walk, run, or hike. Use the one that is easiest for you.
Option A
Use this if your fitness app lets you save your activity as a GPX or TCX file.
Note: A FIT file will not work.
Option B
Use this if you only have your phone, or cannot save a GPX or TCX file.
A Head Admin checks it before points are added.
Part 4
An event is a challenge that has a start date, an end date, and its own scoreboard.
Press Menu, then Events to see challenges happening now, coming soon, or finished.
Open EventsOpen a challenge happening now and press Join. You only need to do this once.
Browse available eventsAdd it normally. It counts only if it happened during the challenge dates.
Open activity uploadOpen the challenge to see your position. The Global leaderboard shows all your points.

Open the first pageSee the walks and runs you have added, and their points.
Open My activitiesSee activities sent from your phone and whether they are waiting, approved, or rejected.

Open NotificationsChange the name people see, fitness level, weekly goals, and colours.
Open My profileTake a screenshot, then contact your Head Admin. Include what you were trying to do, which page you were on, and what went wrong.
